Beacon Within is a neurodivergent-led coaching and lived-experience project created by Darren Glencross, a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD speaker, writer and coach.

Built from real life experience rather than clinical theory, Beacon Within focuses on helping neurodivergent people better understand themselves, build confidence and navigate the world without losing who they are. Through frameworks such as Inner Orbit, Darren explores identity, emotional regulation, burnout recovery and self-understanding in a practical, grounded and human way.
Beacon Within offers talks, workshops, coaching and written resources designed to support both neurodivergent individuals and the people who support them. The aim is simple: clearer understanding, less shame and a stronger sense of direction for those who have spent years feeling different.
Visitors are warmly invited to come and talk, explore the work and learn more about the Inner Orbit framework, Stillpoint grounding sessions and upcoming projects.
Discounted copies of Darren’s books will be available at the shows, along with access to a discounted recorded version of his Stillpoint guided grounding session for visitors who would like a practical tool to take away.
You can meet Darren at The National Neurodiversity Shows in;
Wales – 30th April 2026 – Cardiff City Stadium
Midlands – 14th July 2026 – CBS Arena Coventry
Darren will be delivering a seminar at both of these shows, details below;
Finding Your Orbit: Understanding Yourself Through a Lived Neurodivergent Lens
Many neurodivergent people grow up feeling different without fully understanding why. In this honest and reflective talk, Darren Glencross shares his late diagnosis journey and introduces Inner Orbit, a lived-experience framework designed to help people better understand themselves. Rather than focusing on deficits, this session explores identity, emotional intensity, burnout and self-acceptance through a practical and human lens. Darren offers a grounded perspective for neurodivergent individuals, families and professionals who want clearer language, deeper self-understanding and a more compassionate way of navigating life.
